逃出生天A Way Out是一款动作角色冒险解谜游戏，非常有趣，有团队合作玩法，比较新颖。
游戏虽然以叙事为主导，但逃出监狱的方法由玩家主导，包括各种各样的脱狱玩法。
游戏主角为利奥和文森特，涉及汽车追逐，潜行合作，近战格斗，枪战射击，以及大量声东击西的合作玩法。游戏主角利奥和文森特开始互不相认，随着各自的剧情路线的展开才会发生摩擦与碰撞，玩家通过合作研究逃脱监狱的方法彼此建立情感，而且逃出监狱之后还将大战警察的追捕，达成完美逃脱。
